Event Description

Using the metro rail to travel to downtown Buffalo is easy and affordable to do, but can be intimidating for new users. The goal of this event is to teach people who have never used the metro rail how to get to destinations downtown.

Visit the waterfront, see Downtown Buffalo’s famous architecture, and tour the Buffalo
Niagara Medical Campus and surrounding community gardens.

An optional dinner will be provided at 6:30.

Please meet at Flint Loop Bus Stop at 1:45!

If you cannot stay for the entire tour, feel free to leave at any time via the Metro Rail.

We will definitely head down to this area again for future events. Although, this program is intended to really introduce the Buffalo area and metro rail system early on, so that you are able to utilize the knowledge gained for the remainder of the semester.

How was your Thanksgiving Break?

Hey guys,

We're curious about the fun you had back home on break!

I had a nice relaxing time not being seeing the inside of Hayes Hall and definitely ate too much food. It was my first Thanksgiving as a vegetarian which made my mom real nervous, but she handled the stuffed squash well! I also saw my friend who is living in NYC. We haven't hung out in two years- it was an awesome time!

Your stories?
