How was your Thanksgiving Break?

Hey guys,

We're curious about the fun you had back home on break!

I had a nice relaxing time not being seeing the inside of Hayes Hall and definitely ate too much food. It was my first Thanksgiving as a vegetarian which made my mom real nervous, but she handled the stuffed squash well! I also saw my friend who is living in NYC. We haven't hung out in two years- it was an awesome time!

Shared Interest Housing Leaders Shannon and Aubrey hosted a bingo game last night on the 7th floor lounge in Red Jacket. We played until everyone won- Bingo apparently does take skill!

Shared Interest Housing Informational Meeting

UA first year residents attended an informational meeting about living on the Shared Interest Housing (SIH) Floors next year. Eric Streeter, Assistant Director of Residential Education, explained the benefits of living in SIH, as well as answered questions on the lay out of rooms. Next year, UA SIH will be on floors 5, 6, and 7 in Red Jacket building 6. There are 36 spots available. You can pick up applications now in 17 Norton. They are due by February 10. Is it the free usage of laptops? Hot chocolate or tea? The tables, comfy chairs, relaxed atmosphere among your friends? I surely do like seeing you; you're the highlight of my job!
