Hi Ahmed, No worries- end of the school year gets busy :) You can choose a specific academy at the end of your first semester. The seminar for the fall is general to all three, and then in the spring you will have the opportunity to choose a seminar specific to one of the three, so perhaps the research. The seminars will show up on your transcript as courses you have taken, but there is no other transcript notation for Academies participation at this time. But it is definitely something to add to your resume! There is also the possibility to do an "activities transcript" through the leadership office which keeps track of all the activities and other things you participate in during school, which helps keep a record as well. Look forward to meeting you soon- any other questions let me know!

I love to smile, read, shop, and conduct various unique and random researches, specifically in the health care field.
I was born in NYC Lived there for 13 years. Moved to Egypt. Lived there for 5 years. Back to NY, but in Buffalo.
I love to travel the world ( which i did do to numerous countries) hence I am also highly interested in the Global Perspective section of this academy.

On Tuesday, December 1 at 1PM, the Undergraduate Academies hosted a guest speaker Dr. Sarah-Bay Cheng, from the Department of Theatre & Dance.

How was your Thanksgiving Break?

Hey guys,

We're curious about the fun you had back home on break!

I had a nice relaxing time not being seeing the inside of Hayes Hall and definitely ate too much food. It was my first Thanksgiving as a vegetarian which made my mom real nervous, but she handled the stuffed squash well! I also saw my friend who is living in NYC. We haven't hung out in two years- it was an awesome time!
