Come hear UB faculty from different departments speak about how their discipline contributes to the study of and response to extreme events. Learn about how disciplines from microbiology to engineering, to communication become involved in studying catastrophic events. Bring your questions!

Shared Interest Housing Leaders Shannon and Aubrey hosted a bingo game last night on the 7th floor lounge in Red Jacket. We played until everyone won- Bingo apparently does take skill!

Shared Interest Housing Informational Meeting

UA first year residents attended an informational meeting about living on the Shared Interest Housing (SIH) Floors next year. Eric Streeter, Assistant Director of Residential Education, explained the benefits of living in SIH, as well as answered questions on the lay out of rooms. NY Power Authority 11.6.09

On Friday, November 6th, the Undergraduate Academies took a trip to the NY Power Authority in Lewiston -- just north of Niagara Falls.

The plant, located about 4 1/2 miles downstream from Niagara Falls, has two main facilities: the Robert Moses Niagara Power Plant and the Lewiston Pump-Generating Plant.
